what is an escape room?

A fun, live action game where you and your friends are placed in a story-themed room and are given 60 minutes to search for hidden clues, solve puzzles, and work together to escape the room before time runs out.

Which Room Should we choose?
|
You won’t go wrong with any of them! We recommend starting with the Genius Test, which is a great introduction to escape games. Hostage in Toyland is fun for all ages and Antigravity is our most challenging room.

will we actually be locked in a room?
|
Yes and no. All locked rooms are provided with an EXIT button if you need to leave or use the restroom, but please know that your game clock will keep counting down.

what is the age range for each room?
|
All our rooms are recommended for age 10 and older. Younger players are welcome, but some game elements may be too difficult for them. Any player under the age of 14 must have a ticketed accompanying adult (18 or older) present during the game.

Around 15 minutes before your scheduled game time.

how long will the entire experience take?

Actual playing time is 60 minutes, but you should plan on being on site at least an hour and a half. You will need to sign a waiver and hear a quick video before your game starts and then will likely want to celebrate, take a group pic, grab a coke, and purchase one of our cool T-shirts before you leave.

what if we have small children with us?
|
Since game rooms have specialized items, children under the age of 6 must be supervised closely, held, or kept in a stroller in the room with you throughout the game.

do you provide discounts?
|
Though our rooms are some of the least expensive in the country, we do provide discounts for large groups or those booking entire rooms.

how far in advance should i book a room?
|
All of our rooms are on a first come, first serve basis, so we recommend you pre-purchasing tickets for the specific room and time you prefer as soon as you can (especially for weekend slots). Race2Escape.net should have the most updated room availability, but we do accept walks ups at the last minute to fill in open slots. can we bring large groups?
|
Yes, but please call first and let us help you plan your event. We are open to special hours of operation and adjusting game start times depending upon the size of your group. Race 2 Escape can handle up to 10 players per room, per hour.

will i be put in a room with strangers?
|
Maybe. Each game can accommodate between 8-10 people. Unless you are buying out all the tickets for a time slot, there is the possibility you may play with other ticketed players.

can i do birthday parties there?
